My Why

We’re all many things—layered, evolving, and deeply human. I’m a teacher, a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, and a celebrator of life’s messy, beautiful moments. Somewhere between caring for others, chasing deadlines, and trying to squeeze a little peace out of a packed day, I realized I had quietly slipped to the bottom of my own priority list. Sound familiar? Like many women, I’ve spent years showing up for others and I am just now learning how to show up more honestly for myself.

Skincare was my quiet escape—a hobby that became a source of comfort, healing, and reflection. It wasn’t just about products; it was about presence. And when I realized how much I needed those moments of calm and care, I also realized that many other women needed them too. What began as a personal search for a way to reclaim even a few peaceful minutes turned into something much deeper: a vision for creating products that make self-care not just accessible, but indulgent. Mythic Cosmetics was born out of the belief that skincare should feel like a treat—not another task on your to-do list.

That’s why I created Mythic Cosmetics—a  brand built not just on ingredients, but also self-care and intention. It’s a reminder to press pause, to carve out 10 minutes just for you. To take that bath. Ignore the laundry. Let your partner take the reins. Take up space, unapologetically.

Mythic is here to help you take better care of yourself—physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s more than skincare; it’s a community. A place where we can show up as our whole selves. Where we can laugh, cry, be sarcastic, be soft, and still feel held. Where self-care isn’t just encouraged—it’s sacred.

This brand is my leap of faith—stepping outside my comfort zone into a new field, hoping that my journey can spark healing or peace for someone else. Even in small ways. 

I created Mythic for the woman who shows up for everyone else, but is learning to show up for herself, too.
